The Night Light is back on a FRIDAY night with three distances and 3x lap relay!

Night Light schedule:
Friday 10.23.2026
4:30pm: Day of Registration & Bib Pick-Up outside the Battle Creek Rec Center.
6:14pm:
Day of Registration closes at Sundown.
6:30pm: Night Light start
One lap = 5K
Two laps = 10K
Three laps = 15K
7:45pm: Awards
Enjoy post-race food truck and root beer. All runners receive a coupon good towards a food truck purchase. Post race festivities continue at Wabasha Brewing where you can claim your complimentary post-race drink.
Bring a headlamp with you to the 2026 Night Light! With one, two & three lap distances, the race course winds its way through the trails of Battle Creek which is 100% off pavement. Expect grassy/dirt trails and a fair number of large climbs (yes hills!) The course is not lit so be ready with your own head lamp!
3 Person Relay: Each person runs a 5K lap.
Divisions based on women’s, men’s, mixed, and masters 40+.

95% Nordic Ski trails, 5% single track. Exchange zone at start/finish area.
Cancellation Policy
Race Modification and Cancellation in the Event of Severe Weather:
Urban Trail Series race organizers first priority is to ensure that all athletes participating in the events will be safe. The races may be cancelled or shortened in the case of severe weather including extreme heat and humidity, high winds and lightning.
We will utilize The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Heat and Humidity Guidelines for Races, as well as information from the National Weather Service to decide how the races will be managed in case of severe weather conditions.
