Endurance United is a St. Paul based non-profit driven to promote an Active, Healthy, Outdoor lifestyle. We do this through programming and hosting endurance events. Originally the Sisu Skiers cross country ski club, the organization has grown and embraced a wider variety of endurance activities to better deliver on it's mission.

We started the Urban Trail Series in 2012 as our key event series that shows off the extensive trail system in the Battle Creek Regional Park, a true gem of a park for Ramsey County and as a primary fundraiser for our programming.  Go Spring! opener in May centers around the nordic ski trails with distances ranging from 5K to 10K. 

 In August we roll out the Bluff Tuff our heat of the summer long distance trail run, 10K to Marathon and more.  The point-to-point version of this run is on hold while the MRT State Trail is repaired by Hwy 61. Historically runners have navigated through rolling terrain in East Battle Creek, MORC single track up to the Burns Ave Overlook, run with the deer on the Games Loop and as people climb big wheezy birds of prey circle for encouragement. Strategically placed set of 20-40-20 stairs in the Municipal Forest makes the run over Mounds Park feel like a second wind. Swede Hollow park offers a cooler shaded segment or a great shoe wash in heavy rain years. Got to love it.

The Night Light is a favorite for many as runners start at sundown transitioning to headlamps as the moon comes up in the fall sky. In Oct 2018 we're back to Friday night so you have the whole weekend open to relax or put in a good OD run. The sounds of trains coupling together are blended with happy runners and bells from the volunteer water stops crews. Runners have been coming back year after to year.  Its just that much fun. (It could be that we serve food and beer at this event)

Our final event of the series is our Turkey Day Trail Trot, on a Thursday morning again. Back to the East Battle Creek Dog Park because that's where the hot cider and cocoa seem to always show up. Families run together to work off some calories before the days festivities. Runners planning on going back for seconds of Turkey and dressing are encouraged to do the 10K. For a no-guilt slice of pie adults can jump in and run with the Trail Kids 2K.
